Please read before you begin:
1. Download the pdf document before filling in the details.
2. Save your Bursary Application titled as “Bursary Application_[First and Last Name]”
3. Provide all information requested on the application.
4. Answer in clear, concise language and take note of spelling, grammar, and formatting.
5. Include two references, along with a letter of reference from each.
6. Include your high school transcript OR a transcript from your previous year of post-secondary education.
7. Include a copy of the acceptance papers from the post-secondary institute you will be attending.
8. Include a digital file of your graduation picture. This image will only be used to announce winning recipients on ldbice.ca.

16th annual lac du bonnet ice fishing derby
The Lac du Bonnet Ice Fishing Derby Committee extends a sincere thank you to all who joined us for the 16th Annual Lac du Bonnet Ice Fishing Derby held on February 24, 2024! We were thrilled to have such a great turnout & fantastic weather!
Congratulations to our CASH PRIZE WINNERS:
~ 1st- $15,000 Joan Charles
~ 2nd- $5,000 Carmen Clifford
~ 3rd-$3,000 Matthew Early
~ 4th-$2,000 Jennalea Landry

There were 1,247 anglers fishing a total of 1,437 holes. The fish were evidently practicing their stealth moves yesterday because, despite our best efforts, only 47 of them fell for the bait! Nevertheless, what a day it was at the Lac du Bonnet Ice Fishing Derby! A heartfelt thank you goes out to each and every one of you who made this event a resounding success. Your enthusiasm and participation truly made the day memorable.

Our Auger Crew & Hole Drilling Teams drilled 2,180 holes in 50 minutes with 36 augers. This is a new record!
Once again, thank you to all participants, our 90 sponsors, and 169 volunteers for making this year's Lac du Bonnet Ice Fishing Derby an event to remember.
